Parent Support Groups: Wellbeing and Connection for Families
Walks, parent and baby groups and wellbeing sessions
We're focussed on improving the mental, physical and emotional health of families through connecting with nature.
Supporting Parents to Thrive Outdoors
Parent Sanctuary is a community-led social enterprise supporting parents’ mental and physical wellbeing through gentle, nature-based activities. We offer pram-friendly walks, a safety-led sling library, outdoor play and forest school sessions, and seasonal wellbeing gatherings for parents and carers with babies and young children. Our sessions, typically 60–90 minutes, are designed to reduce isolation, build confidence outdoors, and strengthen parent–child connection. Each year, hundreds of local families join us to walk, talk and play in green spaces, often telling us they feel calmer, more connected and more confident after attending. Parent Sanctuary is a welcoming starting point for fresh air, peer support and gentle movement in the early years.
Who we are
We started Parent Sanctuary to run inclusive parent support groups during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, with a growing team of volunteers and associates.
